If you can access the assignment (it's not locked) I will still accept it. Only under very special circumstances will I unlock an assignment.
If the assignment can be graded on a right/wrong basis, you will receive full credit (ex: A vocab worksheet -- I want you to be able to see how many words you can correctly understand, so I will only take off points for wrong answers)
If the assignment was based on your understanding of the literature or your writing ability, you will receive 10-50% less, based on the lateness of the assignment.
Absences If you know you are going to be absent, make sure understand how to navigate your Canvas classrooms, as you are still responsible for anything that you missed!
In my class, it's always best to check "Modules". Each module is based on the week and begins with an "overview and todo list" which will give you a basic outlines of your responsibilities each day. A "helpful links" page follows, which should contain links to the book we're reading, any videos we watched, and any study games that we played. The assignments for the week will follow.
It's up to you to email me through canvas if you don't understand an assignment, or if there is something you are unable to access.
You are still responsible for work on days that you are home from school, and days that you are sick!
